If you already possess an older pressing, I wouldn't upgrade to this version. There were micro scratches on the record but not as bad as I expected. This is the first HelloMerch record that did not have a seam-split or unruly amount of scratches or dust on the record upon opening.
Surface noise is minimal using headphones, with side D being worse (possibly because of the warping.) The inside of the gatefold includes all of the lyrics. Both records are a little warped, with disc 2 being worse. The vinyl themselves sound pretty good, although I expected it to sound a little better. The re-amped guitars sound good and robust, adding a little bit of warmth to the record - although I think they would have been better re-recording the entire record like Silent Planet did with their first LP.
